Train to be a teacher at
the South West London Hub

“The course has been very, very good… I had high hopes because of the fantastic school setting and its supportive staff. Nothing seems too challenging or out of reach.”

How it works

The National Mathematics and Physics SCITT’s South West London (Hampton) Hub is led by Lady Eleanor Holles School (LEHS), an independent girls’ day schools rated “Excellent” in all areas by the ISI.  Lady Eleanor Holles has the team, the facilities, and the expertise to provide an excellent teacher training experience.

Trainees based here for one day a week for their training.  The Hub training day is an opportunity for trainees to come together with other Mathematics and Physics trainees, share ideas and experiences and learn from our outstanding Hub Subject Leads.

Full-time trainees will spend the other four days in the week at one of our growing network of placement schools, where they will build their experience and learn from some great teaching mentors, so they can enjoy a flying start to their teaching careers.
